Hello everyone! Sorry for being so distant, it has been a busy month In Jaco, Costa Rica. I have seen God’s glory in just about everything, And I don’t even know where to begin. This past month has been so fruitful and it has given me an opportunity to be interrupted by the father. When I first arrived in Jaco, I was nervous because it was a different type of mission than others I have done. But by the end of the month I had built relationships with the locals and considered it another home. I had the privilege to say yes In a convent with the Lord. Explored the jungles and beaches of Jaco. Went bald. Created long lasting relationships with the Homeless community. Lastly we got to bring the light and love of Jesus to this beautiful city that needs it so desperately. As I move onto this next stage of the race, it is okay to be sad and to mourn but it also is something that I should be excited about. I get to spread the unending love of the father. Today I head to L”mon, Costa Rica. We will be there for 9 days serving the community there alongside teen challenge. Teen challenge is an organization that helps troubled teens that have been opened up to drugs. And they help them get off of the street. Lastly, we will head to Puerto Viejo, where we will be doing street evangelism and working with the community there. Thank you all for your continued support. PuraVida.

  7. The line I like the most is you saying you had the privilege of saying “yes” to the Lord. The is so much “life, and life abundantly” wrapped up in “yes” to the Lord. Not just for the next five months.

  8. You are “all in” for the ride, Hayden. And you’re full of the life and light of Jesus! I can see it so clearly in your “yes”.

  9. Bringing light and love of Jesus to places where it seems dark is a beautiful thing. Being the hands and feet of Jesus wherever you can will grow your relationship with Christ your entire life. So proud of you for saying yes.
