A change of scenery

These past five weeks have been some of the most fruitful days that I have experienced in my life. I have been given the ability to make friendships that will last a lifetime, all while being put out of my comfort zone. We arrived in Louisiana today, and for the next two days we are getting settled and then we go out onto the field Monday. It is a weird feeling being fully moved into an area and then to get up and go somewhere else again. But that is what missionary’s are supposed to encounter right? I have come to the realization that to be a missionary, you must be put into difficult situations. And when in those situations you must trust in God in order to spread the word of God. As we go into these next two weeks, I pray for strength, and endurance. So that we can help people know great the kingdom of God.

  1. I loved waking up this morning and reading about where you are in your journey. It’s so wonderful to be in a place where you have to really trust the Lord when you are out of your comfort zone. That’s the best place to know His presence and feel His love. I am praying for you daily and am so blessed by your willingness to follow the Lord.

  2. Lovin’ the updates. What a wonderful adventure and what a wonderful education. An education more beneficial in preparing for life than any college degree can give you. A win, win!!!

  3. Hi Hayden….
Thanks for the update….. It is for sure hard leaving our comfort zone, being challenged in ways we never imagined, and to learn to lean on Christ daily. It is good to hear you are making friends – it is so important to have a support system within reach – not just from a distance. You all will be relying on each other to work as a team and to help each other get through the hard days and to rejoice with each other with every victory. God bless you Hayden….. what an adventure you are on.
    Philippians 4:13
“I can do all this through Him who gives me strength.”
