For the 4 days that I was at boot camp, it was one of the most amazing experience of my life. It had given me the opportunity to act in solitude and community while also being around people that were there for similar reasons. My perspective on life had changed, and also my perspective of what my life could be like changed as well. The night before we left, we were told that it might be difficult for us to back to our daily lives with the same mindset we had at camp. To an extent, this was true. I had found myself falling back into the turns and obstacles of my daily life without leaving time for God. I prayed for some direction on how to live through him and make him a number one priority without making my time with him an afterthought. I came to the realization that I needed a change of perspective. I needed to change my mindset about solitude, and to come to enjoy and cherish it. I am working on my time with God and trying my best to have him at the top of my list.

Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.

  2. YES Hayden. Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Thankful for you and your desire to pursue a deeper relationship with Christ!

  3. It’s the day to day, little by little habits of putting Christ first, reading His Word, seeking Him with all your heart that will transform you in deep and lasting ways. Sounds like you have a magnificent start. Looking forward to meeting you in September. You are in our prayers.

  4. Hayden, what a beautiful message. I can’t wait to see what God does in your life through this opportunity and ministry. Taking this journey shows your maturity in making a difference in your life and the lives of others. May God bless you and keep you strong now and though out this process. You will have great memories and life long friendships from this experience. Sending lots of love and prayers from Texas!!!! Jennifer & Eric Armstrong
